Breast cancer advocates are actively involved in areas as varied as: learning about and supporting health care issues regarding funding of breast cancer research and new breakthroughs in treatments, assisting in new clinical trial development and accrual of patients, and supporting and educating women who are diagnosed with breast cancer.
